Festiv’arts Caribéen is centered on providing a bridge between our festival-goers and the wide range of talented artists and creators within Caribbean culture. As art is continuously changing, it is important for us to display what continues to breathe life into the pillar of this event. Exhibitors will be able to showcase their work and interact with the 5000+ attendees over the 3-day festival this year, from August 2 to 4, 2024. FAQ

August 2, 3 and 4, 2024.

The presence of the artist is required at all times.

Indoor exhibition: Magog Visual Arts Center (61, rue Merry Nord, Magog J1X 2E7

Outdoor exposure: Cabana parking lot in the West sector of Parc-de-la-Baie de Magog, accessible via Route 112 (rue Principale Ouest, Magog)

Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3, 2024: from 1 pm to 10 pm and August 4 from 1 pm to 6 pm.

Disciplines: painting — mixed media — drawing — sculpture — photography

Identification: on the back of the paintings or under the sculpture / name — telephone — title — dimension (note that the paintings must be dry and ready for hanging!

The artist is not required to pay a commission for the sale of works produced under the marquees (outdoor exhibition).

Note :

no sculpture to be hung or suspended is accepted;
no copy or reproduction of an existing work in whole or in part is accepted.

Board: 76cm x 76cm [30″ x 30″] including frame

Sculpture: 183cm high x 61cm wide x 61cm deep [6ft x 2ft x 2ft]

183cm x 244cm [6ft x 8ft]. No limit on the number of works provided you respect the allocated space.

The Magog Visual Arts Center is equipped with a security system, but the exhibitor assumes full responsibility for his works. The Magog Visual Arts Center declines all responsibility in this regard.

The works will be offered for sale at the price set by the artist and sales taxes must be included in the price, if applicable.

For the indoor exhibition, the reception and set-up will take place at the Visual Arts Center of Magog on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two works per artist.

For the outdoor exhibition, reception and set-up will take place at the Cabana de Magog parking lot on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10 a.m.

The artist or a representative must be present at this time to collect the works.

Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 8:00 p.m.

The works can be left on site in the evening. A night watchman will be present the evening and night of August 6, 2022. However, even if a night watchman is provided, the organizing committee cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft before, during or after the hours of the event. The artist has full responsibility for his material and works.

The Committee disclaims all liability in the event of the event being canceled due to force majeure. In such a case, no refund will be made. The artist releases the members of the board of directors, employees and volunteers from any liability or claim whatsoever in any respect concerning the activity. The Committee undertakes to promote, organize and manage the progress of the activity.

Anyone who participates in the Festiv’Arts caribéen de Magog authorizes the organizer to publish images or photographs taken during the event on its various communication tools.
